What happens in our sessions? How long do they take?

The first session is an Initial Consultation where we look into how hypnotherapy can help you, as well as an explanation about how the mind works. Then we use each hour session thereafter to understand more about how the brain works, set achievable targets and use trance for a deep relaxation and to dissolve any unwanted, limiting subconscious beliefs you may have.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis is a type of trance, which is a very ordinary state of mind (we go into a trance several times a day when cooking, out for a walk or brushing our teeth to name but a few examples). Hypnosis feels like daydreaming, letting your mind wander whilst you listen to Catherine's soothing voice and calming music. At the end you will feel deeply relaxed!

Are you registered with a professional body?

Yes, Catherine is a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
